Pre-Treatment
Water quality has a large part to play in the efficiency of your boiler.
Dependant on water quality it is sometimes necessary to pre-treat the water before it is fed into the Boiler.
This could include:
Filters - to take out foreign matter and types of suspended solids
Softeners - to remove Calcium from the feed water
RO (reverse osmosis) - to remove almost all suspended solids
Demineralisation - a different process to RO but with the same result to produce high purity feed water
Deaerator - to remove Oxygen and dissolved gases from the feed water to prevent corrosion
Economiser - to heat the feed water with exhaust gasses from the stack to reduce the cost of fuel to heat the water going into the boiler
